Great words Matthew, and one could argue the vision of a demagogue / narcissist. Tribe is important, but so is balance, and pinning your identity to a tribe is never the answer.
Agreed! I was trying to explore the benefits of our ‘pack’ nature and how it can also be exploited (I’m reading about the world wars at the moment, and have also heard a case study today of a very positive project that helped people through giving them a sense of community and belonging).
